This page explains how the airport pages on AirportCheatSheet are made: where the rates and details come from, who is responsible for them, how often they are re-checked, what tools we use, and what happens when we get something wrong. If a page you are reading does not live up to what is written here, that is a defect — please tell us.

Who is responsible

AirportCheatSheet is edited and maintained by JK Hwang (황정균), based in Incheon, South Korea. The editor is not employed by, and has no commercial relationship with, any airport, airline, or parking operator listed on this site. Responsibility for every figure published here rests with the editor.

Where the information comes from

• Primary sources only.Parking rates, terminal assignments, ground-transport options, and lounge details are taken from the airport authority's own website, its official parking operator, and the local transit authority. Each airport page lists the pages used under “Sources”.
• Not used as sources: other airport-guide sites, travel blogs, forum posts, or AI-generated answers. A rate is never published from them.
• No invented precision.Parking is priced by lot, season, and booking channel, so where an airport publishes a range or a “from” price, we publish that, not a made-up exact figure.

How a page is built

Every airport on this site is one structured record: terminals and which airlines use them, parking options and rates, ground transport with typical times and fares, lounges, practical tips, sources, and the date it was last checked. The page you read is rendered from that record, which is why every airport page has the same layout — so you can compare two airports without re-learning the page. When we say a page was checked or corrected, it is the record that was checked or corrected.

How we use AI tools

We use AI-assisted writing tools (large language models) to draft and tidy the explanatory text around the facts, and to help extract structured details from long official pages into a record. We do not use them as a source of rates, terminals, or transport details. A figure enters a record only if it can be traced to a cited official page, and the editor reviews and edits drafts before publication. Nothing on this site is published automatically without a person deciding to publish it.

We disclose this because readers deserve to know how a site is made, and because it is the honest answer to how a very small team keeps this many airport pages current against sources that change every season.

Verification and updates

• Regular re-checks, in rotation.A group of airports — starting with the most-read pages — is compared against official parking and transport pages on a recurring schedule. Changed values are updated and the “last checked” date on that page moves forward.
• We do not bump dates for show. A page whose figures have not changed keeps its existing date.
• Unverifiable means unchanged. If an official page is down, blocked, or moved, the existing value stays in place rather than being replaced with a guess.

Corrections

If a rate looks wrong, a terminal has changed, or a transport option no longer exists, use the contact page and tell us which airport. We re-check the official source, correct the record, and the page's last-checked date is updated.

Rankings and scores

Where we rank airports, the method is published on How we rate. Rankings are calculated from the same records described above, and no airport or operator can pay to change one.

Independence, advertising, and affiliate links

AirportCheatSheet is free to read and is funded by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links to travel products such as airport transfers, lounge passes, or travel eSIMs. Advertisers and partners have no access to, and no influence over, what a page says. A parking rate or transport fare is never sponsored. The details are on our About page.

What we will not do

• Publish a rate, terminal, or fare we cannot trace to an official source.
• Copy or lightly rewrite another site's guide.
• Invent traveler reviews or “my experience at this airport” stories.
• Let an advertiser or affiliate partner change a figure or a ranking.
• Present a guess as a fact. If we are unsure, the page says so.

Limits of this site

AirportCheatSheet is general information to help you plan. Airports reprice lots and move airlines between terminals, sometimes with little notice. Always confirm on the airport's official website before you travel.
